coverage starts at 7:00 p.m. eastern, 4:00 pacific. >>> former penn state assistant football coach jerry sandusky will likely spend the rest of his life in prison. a judge has sentenced him to at least 30 years in prison. sarah ganum has been covering the story from the beginning and she's with me now. you were in the courtroom today. first off, jerry sandusky has had some really most people would call them bizarre reactions, bizarre answers in interviews. how did he react today? >> reporter: he didn't react specifically to the sentence, but right before it was handed down, we saw him cry and that was when he was talking about his wife, dottie, and being separated from her. he said that he doesn't like being called a child know wles ter, but what really hurts and where the pain really comes from is being separated from his wife and his family. he said he talked about this year's wedding anniversary, he rolled over in bed to give her a hug and instead he hit a cinder block wall because he's in jail. he also talked about clinging to hope and fighting for the people that still support him.
